Each year, the leadership team of SCHOLA Fellowship meets to lay out a comprehensive plan of study for our time together. We meet twenty-four (24) weeks per year in two twelve (12) week semesters. Core subjects include Scripture memorization, hymns, folk songs, artist study, composer study, nature study, presentations, and Shakespeare (Form II+) with additional subjects rotating yearly based on the needs and interests of our families.
Forms, or class groups, are divisions of the students by age. Form 1a: 1st grade, Form 1b: 2nd-3rd grade, Form 2a: 4th grade, Form 2b: 5th-6th grade, Form 3: 7th-9th grade, Form 4: 10th-12th grade
Together Subjects are studied together by all the forms at the same time.
Common Subjects are studied studied separately in the individual forms to allow material to be tailored to the students capabilities and maturity.
Form-Specific Subjects are subjects studied only by that form.
These subjects are learned together with the whole SCHOLA community. They occur at the beginning of our day with all of the students.
